Awake and Alive, Live from the Awake Tonight Tour with TobyMac. This was the first concert of the tour which took place at the Aurora Christian High School Gymnasium. Lots of pyrotechnics and lots of rocking out. Please excuse the shakiness and occassional bluriness. This was actually flmed with my Digital SLR camera with a 70mm – 300mm telefoto lens. So I had to hold the heavy lens, adjust the zoom and adjust the focus all at the same time. Filmed towards the back of the show. BTW my first Skillet concert was October 1999 at a VERY small church in Ashland, Oregon. The church stage was just big enough for the band! I should add that they had no stage lights for that performance and they arrived in a van.
